I would exclude Ron Paul and include Hunter, if it was up to me.
However, you Hunter folks cannot have it both ways.
When asked why Hunter is not campaigning, you tell us that he is skipping Iowa and New Hampshire. This in spite of the significant campaigning he did early in Iowa and the campaigning he did in NH before the primary. Then after he finishes at less than one percent, we are told this is meaningless because, after all, he wasn’t even trying!
If he isn’t even trying, then there is no real reason to include him in debates with the candidates who are trying. If he is trying, let him prove it by campaigning regularly like the serious candidates.
You got it wrong. Hunter did skip Iowa, to campaign in NH, WY (came in 3rd), and NV.
He is campaigning hard. He just does not get MSM or conservative media coverage.
Duncan Hunter is out there doing HIS job every day for you. He’s not campaigning like the others because he CARES and he’s responsible and all the good things NONE of the others are.
But that doesn’t matter, does it? The media will pick the candidates, they already have and people like you just make their deception all the easier. You will get the president you deserve.
I don’t know who said Hunter wasn’t trying in NH. I was privy to a conference call where he specifically said he was pounding NH. He had radio and TV ads ready to go. He needed money to buy time. For heaven sake, donate to his campaign so he can at least compete a little bit. He doesn’t have the millions like the Clintoons and McPain and Romney, and Obama with his Oprah money. He needs financial support, big time. If you think Duncan Hunter should be the next President, GIVE to his campaign. Don’t just sit there and SAY, “I support Duncan Hunter ‘08.” Really do it with funds.
I’m glad I saw your post. I’m sure that I recall Duncan Hunter spending at least an entire month last Summer campaigning in Iowa. Yet, this past week, his supporters have said he never went there. But he did, so why deny it? Thanks for validating that Hunter did campaign there.
