Might ultimately depend on the VP Candidate running with McCain. I have no delusions about John. He’s a liberal in RINO clothing. I’ve railed long and hard about single issue litmus tests, but his immigration stand is highly odiferous, and that claptrap campaign reform legislation he sponsored reeks to high Heaven.

BUT...I would grudgingly have to vote for him, if he’s running with a more conservative VP candidate (Cheney, again?).

I would really prefer to have a candidate I could support, rather than be in a position of having to select the lesser of two evils, again. There’s been far too much of that in the years I’ve been going to the election booth.

Cheney won't be running for anything again.

But a McCain/Thompson ticket would be balanced geographically and ideologically.
