Marianne Pernold was called by Clinton's campaign ahead of time to go to the coffee shop in Ft. Smith New Hampshire (older woman-democrat). She was invited by Terry Norelli of Hillary's campaign. Questioner thinks that Hillary was sincere because the question was personal. Marianne says that immediately after the crying, Hillary resumed the political face.
"Marianne Pernold tells 630 WMAL's Chris Core she truly believes that Senator Hillary Clinton's emotional response to her question at a meeting in New Hampshire was genuine. Pernold asked Clinton how she managed to keep going during the rough campaign, and Clinton's somewhat-teary response has been credited by some pundits for her victory in the Granite state Tuesday night. Pernold tells 630 WMAL she still voted for Barack Obama, becuase she had attended one of his rallies earlier in the week, and she claims Obama's stirring speech brought HER to tears!"
Of course it was a setup. Everything that woman does is calculated to bring maximum results.
We all knew it was a set up. I just enjoy seeing the pajamahadeen pick up the thread and bust it open.
I also think that bus loads of people from outside New Hampshire voted in the primary but there isn’t anyone out there confirming it.
I hope Obama comes out fighting and stops being so nice. Don’t know who will vote for whom but...he deserves a chance and would rather see him in charge if it came to that than hilllereee and her crowd.
Gack!!
Give me a break.
hilllere gets up in the morning and after taking care of her own personal things I am sure she has her hair done, makeup done and nails done by a pro traveling with her circus.
The question was stupid UNLESS it was asked of a mother who just finished cooking breakfast, is trying to get the kids off to school so she can take care of the baby and clean the kitchen and do whatever errands or laundry she has to do.
hilllereee doesn’t have to do all of that kind of thing so yes, the question WAS STUPID.
Perfect. You should post this as it’s own article here.
As soon as I saw her picture, I immediately thought of the other one.
LOL!
scaredy cat...
I started sending my husband’s dress shirts out to the cleaners about 33 years ago. I had been washing, starching and ironing twenty dress shirts a month for ten years, well a couple of those years it was Air Force uniforms I had to launder, starch and iron. It has been a good decision. When I first started sending them out, I think it may have cost about fifty cents a shirt. What a bargain!
Barack would have won if the different colleges & universities had been in session... Dartmouth, UNH, Colby-Sawyer and other institutions are still on holiday break and will be back after the 21st of this month... when I went to college in NH, we didn’t return to our Spring semester until the last week in January... only those students taking ‘Winterim’ classes (make-up classes) would stay on-campus from Jan. 2-30 taking said classes.
Changing the NH primary from Feb. to Jan. helped Hillary.
I expect we’ll find out within the next few days that the “Iron My Shirt” guy was just another paid Clinton hack.
I heard that the iron my shirt guy had Hillary bumper stickers all over his car. Rush thought that she asked for the lights to be turned up so that the news cameras could capture him and she could utter the “set feminism” back line. I’m sure it was fake. Why would anyone yell that?
“Why is Bill Clinton hugging a chair?”
Because he’s used to hugging a porcelain chair
However, New Hampshire (Live Free or Die, my foot), is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boston-to-Washington lib political cartel. The multi-legged fix -- same-day voter registration, late-in-the-day deliveries of (pre-punched?) supplemental ballots, all-day deliveries of in-the-bag out-of-state voters -- was in for Shelob the Spider Queen, so the only decision her handlers had to make was a tactical one, namely, how to frame the win for the greatest effect. On the one paw, a slim win by a supposed shoo-in suggests incipient vulnerability. On the other, an astonishing, unexpected, come-from-behind victory by someone who's been all but written off strengthens her position for the next contest. Everyone who thinks that decision took more than a nanosecond, raise your hand.
So, with the NH outcome a foregone conclusion, they dusted off the old sandbag ploy, a.k.a. playing up today's doom-and-gloom, to make tomorrow's turnaround look even more miraculous. They chummed the water with rumors of Shelob's impending crack-up, tossing in those not-quite-brimming eyes and a sexist heckler or two as a plausible after-the-fact explanation for the voting public's change of heart. And the press corps, predictably obedient as ever, snapped up the chum and swam with it. Oh boy, Oh Bam', did they swim.
The rhetorical question is whether the media -- those self-styled shapers of public opinion -- are even capable of realizing how deftly they were played by the real masters of the game.
I’m a little naive when it comes to politics so it appeared to me that Hillary was done once she had shown herself to be so completely inept. I forgot to factor in the corruption of Clinton and Co. and the fact that Hillary is the quintessential control freak and would leave nothing to chance - not even how the voters would “vote”. The Clinton’s are the carnies of American politics.
(I just found a new tag line).:)
I vote for setup.
