Where Did Hillary's '35 Years Of Public Service' Come From?
Posted on 01/09/2008 2:37:48 AM PST by moonman
Either I have missed certain key words over the past 2 years regarding Hillary Clinton and her run for the White House, or, "35 years of public service" just started a few days ago.
The woman worked as an aide for Dim politians and low rent lawyers before Bill became governor. Then she moved to the Rose law firm where she carried the briefcases for the REAL lawyers. She never tried a case before a judge or jury in her life, yet, somehow was bestowed the honor (sic) of '1 of top 100 lawyers in the country'.
Anyways, getting back to her '35 years of PUBLIC service'. What, where, when and how?
Does my years in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Jaycees, Elks, Moose, State Bureau of Corrections, sitting in VFW/American legion bars count? If so, put me down for 50 years of Public service.

or ... ‘35 Years Of Self-Serving’ would be more appropriate.

I always wondered myself; What was one of the top 100 lawyers in the country doing practicing in Little Rock, Arkansas?
She must have been really good if she never even went before a judge. Just intimidated the other lawyers in to giving up before trial. Dang is she good.

She could say she had 10,000 years of public service and people would still vote for her.

She has way more years of self-serving than that!
To: moonman
My guess is she’s been screwing the taxpayers for that long....

It is because she says it is and she has all the documation to prove it locked up in the Clinton Presidential Evidence Locker. If you disagree with her assessment, then you're obviously a member of a vast, right-wing conspiracy! :)

She’s pretty obviously counting Bill’s time as hers. Nice try.

I agree. This ‘35 years’ chit is a new talking point. I hear every Hillary spokeperson saying it now.

Every year she dreamed of being a stalinist dictator counts as public service.

This 35 years chit is a new talking point. I hear every Hillary spokeperson saying it now.Well, 35 years ago she was in New Haven, trying to block the streets so the torture-murderers of Alex Rackley could not be tried for their crimes. Then she moved to Oakland and worked for a communist front law firm defending the Black Panthers who were terrorizing the local people.
Why doesn't anyone ask her to describe the beginnings of her "public service" 35 years ago?

She very sincerely believes being a lawyer is “serving the public”.

I’d ask that, and I would also like to know about her conversion to Saul Alinsky’s Communism. I’d really like to see her thesis from Smith, not the fake one that was put in last yr, I want to see the original.
Even her Christmas ad smacked of her socialist ideas...

I think she is referring to the years she ran interference for her husband while he was raping, groping, smoking cigars and serving the public.

In the Clintonista dimension "the aged dopeman on the corner has provided 35 years of public service”, is also a truthful statement.
