I don’t suggest it is a great thing that Presidents made mistakes in the past regarding Justices, but they have.
Bush #1 did and maybe Reagan did, does that sound about right to you?
You call it "making mistakes", when Republican Presidents appoint liberals to the court.
I call it ignoring the will of the people who elected them.
