Look at this. The guy didnt have a clue more often than not. You're too charitable. I think he has had malicious intent on some things (border enforcement, Ramos/Compean for starters).

Overall, I certainly agree. I think you know that.
As for Ramos and Compean, I see it a little different than you do. While I do want to see their sentences commuted, it didn't help to find out they were less than forthcoming regarding their actions. I'm not sure what the rules governing the use of lethal force on the border are, but shooting a guy moving away from you is probably not permitted. The use of lethal force is generally reserved for a life threatening situation. If you or your partner's life is in danger, you can shoot to kill. And shooting to kill is the only reason for discharging your weapon.
That being said, Bush has contributed to an absoloutely intollerable situation on the border. The border patrol is understaffed, undercut and taking it in the shorts so Jorge can curry favor with the citizens of a foreign nation. That is so wrong on so many levels it just pisses me off.
Romas and Compean should at least have their sentences commuted.
And yes, I was too charitable. I try to show some respect for the guy, but I am not convinced he deserves it.
