The figures I saw last night said that an overwhelming number of women went to Hillary

This is the reason I answer the doorbell at home if I'm at home. My wife can't say no to someone asking for money.(selling)I open door and say "what ya selling" if they hesitate, door closed.

Who said I'd stay home?
I may not vote for the Republican candidate but I'd never stay home.

Even considering the cronysim/poor choice of Meyers (which thankfully did not come to pass), George gets super high marks from me for his judicial placements, and that will have more lasting positive effect on our country than his big government republican spending.

And while I’d much prefer a social and fiscal conservative Republican in the white house next time around, frankly I’m most interested in keeeping someone likely to keep appointing right-minded judges to the bench, regardless of their fiscal conservatism or personal social stands. We are just one good conservative SC justice away from beginning to setriously dispatch the tyranny of the left through the federal courts, and Stevens and/or Ginsburg could easily retire/pass on in the next four years.

So it comes down to this, do I want to take a chance on the nominee coming from Obama/Hillary/Edwards, or from any of the current crop of republican candidates? I’d much rather take my chances on any of the R’s. That’s enough for me to know that whoever it is in Nov, I’ll be voting R for president.

The Party sets the ideology in the platform. It is the candidates that choose to wander, and the party that fails to hold them to the ideology. It is the way things are, and no amount of tears in beers is going to change it. Many here would love a third party, or a candidate with more conservative leanings, but can they win in a tight race with someone in the dem party that can almost guarantee 50% of the registered voters, and 50% of the electoral college?

Shutting out Hunter from the debate did it for me....eyes wide open.

In some ways, Fox is more dangerous than CNN, they get by with that Fair and Balanced mantra, but they play lipservice to us.

As for the 2008 race, in my state, we get no choice in who gets the nod, the candidate is "picked" before our primary, actually they were picked before the race started for every state. But they like to keep letting us think we are involved in the process. In May, I will write Hunter in. That will be my last vote for the Presidential race most likely.

I will vote in the state and local elections.

The GOP will have to settle for that from me. I spend what is my vote, only on a product I like and trust. (it seems to be of little value when both sides of the coin look the same)

McCain is NOT better than Hillary. He is Hillary-lite, without giving republicans in Congress someone to fight against.

If it is Hillary vs McCain, I’ll take Hillary.

“Somehow it feels better when a republican is screwing you.”

Bear, I agree with you.

You put it correctly. It’s like having a choice between garbage and garbage.

She attained her seat with the overwhelming vote of the rinos in the Senate... We have no party left... just tattered shreds and a decaying House that Reagan built. You liberals split this party and now try to blame the reality of your actions on Conservatives.

You can shove that 'you liberal' bs where the sun don't shine. Just because someone disagree with you about the best course in a lousy situation does not one a liberal. I don't support any of those candidates, but for me what a Clinton or Obama could do to our Supreme Court is unbearable. We have made incredible progress in the courts and to flush that down the toilet to me makes no sense. If we lose the courts we lose the country, IMHO.

Yeah, but aren't you more comfortable eating your own garbage?

Is that supposed to be scarier than a picture of a victorious McCain, Giuliani, etc.?

I’m not staying home election day to teach anyone a lesson!

I’m (probably) staying home on election day (if it’s McCain) because I don’t vote for global warming, amnesty or gun grabbers— regardless of party.

If the choice is bleed to death or head-shot.

Gimme a head shot.

Oh, and BTW Rudy ole pal ole buddy.
You may think it’s impossible to round up 12 million illegals, but I promise you— if a group of 12 million stopped paying taxes, you would find each and every one of em.

We had eight years of Clinton and four of Carter, and it didn’t destroy the country.

Carter took this country to its lowest point in history.

I don't recommend anyone to stay home election day, no matter who is the GOP candidate. Support your GOP guy up til then, if he doesn't make it, keep it GOP and not allow Hill, Edwards, or Osamabama to take the controls. Just imagine that they will have access to our nuke arsenal...or they may give it away.

I feel pretty much the same way, and voting gives you bi***ing rights (imho).

I am, however, disgusted by the GOP candidates and the one I *wanted* to vote for dropped out last week. Now I'm left with voting for the lesser of many evils or "uncommitted" next Tuesday.

I will not, however, vote for McCain. Ever. He is unstable and would stab you in the back while shaking your hand.
