I’m not sure I would call it a stunning upset. She was ahead all along except for the last two days of polling. More than likely the polling was just faulty. Anyway I’m glad she won. Obama is worse tan Hillary.

Yep. (Whew - Go, Hillary!)

I felt very comfortable when I figured the rats were destined to nominate the repugnant, thoroughly unelectable Hillary. Her nomination would lead not only to a colossal electoral landslide for the Republican candidate (ANY Republican candidate) but would probably improve the GOP’s chance to take back the House with the “down ticket” ripple effect.

But Obama? The Obama phenomenon is too new to get a handle on, especially since right now it’s only the rats who are paying him much attention. I do sense the possibility, though, that with ten months of vigorous face time on TV the silly Obama fad might fade away like the hoola hoop, Trivial Pursuit, and Tickle My Elmo. I just hope it happens before election day 2008

McCain would have destroyed Obama.
Now he will when by 5% over Hillary.
In any event, the presidency is assured.
Now if conservatives in Congress would just get there act together and stay out of bathroom stalls, and pages pockets.

I have to admit I’d rather see one of our own face Hillary than Obama. Obama will bring out every single moon bat and Dem this country has. Its a Liberal’s wet dream to vote for a black man for president. Where he stands on the issues is really of no matter to them. They’ll be motivated by skin color - not issues regardless how totally insane such motivation. Besides, the prospect of being called a racist for months on end while debating liberals in not one I relish.

Be careful what you wish for.
