There is a teacher/student case from PA that has been posted and updated over the last few days here. In that case the teacher is a female (26) the student is a male (14). The majority opinion has pretty much been "atta boy!" and "where were these kind of teachers when I was a kid?" and "she's not bad looking, NOT GUILTY"

If I were to ping some of those posters, I wonder if they'd have the same type of reactions.

Male teacher/female student = rapist, pervert, skin him alive and throw him in a vat of acid.

Female teacher/male student= lucky guy, hot babe, were these kind of teachers when I was a kid?, and she's not bad looking, NOT GUILTY

You must understand... the jasoncann naughtteacher ping list is a lot about sarcasm... I think the orgins of the "guilty" / "not guilty" verdicts stem from the Debra LaFave story... One of the biggest issues most people have on freerepublic, is they can't tell when someone turns on or off the sarcasm button...
