McCain, despite his "anointing" last night, still is very low on money. However, new polling in FL shows Rudy slipping badly---Huck gaining some ground. Fred continues to struggle in single digits. Both McCain and Huck are gaining at Romney's and Rudy's expense.
The first one to drop out would be Rudy if he doesn't make a strong showing in FL and a couple of the big states. I think he would go, at this point, before Mitt. My churning stomach tells me it is going to be a battle between McCain and Huck. I do think McCain can win a general election. I think Huck would be Dukakis/Mondale.

I'll take Rudy over McCain any day as the GOP nominee. Next, I'll take McCain over Huckabee, who would be an electoral disaster in November. Huckabee is siphoning votes that would otherwise go to Romney. If you are a Fred purist, I suppose that it is nice to dream, but I look forward to the anger on FR when Fred drops out after SC and endorses McCain.

If you see or hear any Michigan polling data, please advise.
Once again, Huckabee will siphon enough votes in Michigan to destroy Romney and put McCain one step closer to the GOP nomination.

My churning stomach tells me it is going to be a battle between McCain and Huck. Ha ha ha, finally admitting Romney is toast, which I've been predicting for a while -- I love the sound of whimpering Mitt-bots in the morning!

However, new polling in FL shows Rudy slipping badly---Huck gaining some ground. Rudy, I think, has been banking Florida absentee votes for the last 2 weeks. This makes me nervous as I am not a Rudy guy.
