Oh, please. You’ve been given plenty of “evidence.” The Book of Mormon is its own evidence. I write for a living. I know how much time it takes, how much research, and how much rewriting, to write a 50 page appellate brief that hangs together. The Book of Mormon could not have been written as it was — dictated in one draft over a period of about two months — by an uneducated farmer in his early 20’s who could not, as his wife said, write a decent letter. It is dense with meaning, internally consistent, and consistent with the Bible. It contains sophisticated doctrine and Hebrew literary devices that were unknown even to the learned at the time.
