Where is it written that you have the right and obligation to decide what others believe?
The doctrine the Apostle Paul taught to the Apostolic Christians has been changed by writers hundreds of years later to what is taught by orthodox Christian Churches.
Are the Apostolic Christian Church not "Christian"?
That brings to mind the poem "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet". Call us what you will, we are still followers of Christ and His teachings.
Am I supposed to be defensive now?
Mormons may claim all sorts of things, but that does not make them true. Christians do not believe we will evolve into Gods. Christians do not add to Scripture with "personal revelation" written after the end of the Apostolic Era.
As a Christian I am compelled to speak when someone perverts the TRUTH and claims they are Christian.
Matthew 10:32 Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.
You can't do this if you preach a false gospel.
