If I vote for Romney, I would be hiring Romney to balance the books, streamline government, reduce taxes, keep our economy healthy, appoint conservative judges, keep us on offense in the war, and above all, beat the DEMS!

Same here, unless there is someone else left in the running that I perceive might do it better. That would leave out Huck, McCain, Guliani, and all the Dems.

Romney is the only one left in the race on either side who hasn't demonstrated blatantly anti-American sentiments and ambitions on the national front.

Well, to be fair, Giuliani has been quite good on that front. He’s just a social liberal. What he has over Huckabee and McCain is that he isn’t trying to hide his liberalism, and he’s courting the conservative vote in spite of it. Huckabee and McCain are tying to liberal their way to the nomination.

Personally, I would find Giuliani to be the most palatable choice if Romney were to be removed from the picture. It’s a sad state that we’ve come to that, but there you have it.

Still, Romney is doing well. I think there’s at least a 75% chance at this point that he will be the nominee.
