So those words he stands behind saying. I think Reason magazine said it well:

Paul's position is basically that he wrote the newsletters he stands by and someone else wrote the stuff he has disowned.

"I see questionable spelling, construction and thought patterns all the time on FR. I don't take offense because I know people edit, even reedit their writing before posting, and that elicits mistakes. No harm, no foul."

Same here. I once flamed someone for not using proper spelling and grammer, but soon after my first semester of college finished, I quit using that flame tactic.

Ron Paul is a traitor who supports the enemies of the United States. He has gathered around him a strange assortment of fruits and nuts who are becoming increasingly disruptive and dangerous.

If this was Rome, the best course of action would be to write all of their names down on a list and then nail it to the door of the Capitol. They’ve got at least enough money to give $20 Million to Ron Paul, so the resultant fun might even be profitable.

But, since this isn’t Rome - at the very least I think the time has come to purge all Ron Paul supporters from conservative websites and so forth.

I would expect such semantic thuggery from the DBM, but not from people who post here.

Take a look at the anti-Minuteman Project spamming from a few years ago. Same crap, except most of the people who contributed to that have been thrown off FR.

"I represent what Republicanism used to be. I represent the group that wanted to get rid of the Department of Education, the part, that part of the Republican Party that used to be non-interventionists overseas."

I believe that Ron Paul is getting access to some of the most powerful Indica and Sativa known to this universe. So powerful in fact, that all sense of reason, reality and common sense escape his mind completely.

Defining Conservatism to fit his own twisted suicidal views does not make it a fact.

Although both parties contain absolute fruitcakes, saying that the Republican party "used to be non-interventionists overseas", is complete BS.

Please, take the Ron Paul 08' crazy train to a more "suitable" forum.

You know what is funny is that with all the complaints you see here, this is probably one of the remaining few Conservative forums that hasn’t purged the Paul supporters. Red State, Liberty Post, and Hannity Forums have all banned Paul supporters and zot them as soon as they try to defend him.

Appears Drudge removed the smear article from the website.

Did Liberty Post ban Paultards too?

Not long ago, many of them were monitoring and making comments about me from Liberty Post.

. . .so many Paul-bashing threads show up in Breaking News . . .

Just consider it our way of being objective, okay?

Exactly. Now it’s time for this place, being the largest, to purge Ron Paulites as well.

They’re a disruptive presence, forcing us - when we have better things to deal - to constantly deal with traitors and advocates of treason in ways other than the one proper one.

How about purging McCain lackeys who hope for fellow posters' children to "die and burn in hell"?

The author of these newsletter articles, whoever he or she may be, uses -— like it or not -— the same rhetoric often found on Free Republic.

Yes. We are fortunate to enjoy the discourse, heated as it may become. As Thomas Sowell pointed out some time ago, these debates shed more heat than light at times. Articles like this one are designed to produce the former.

Funny. I don't see your name on the FR Donor List. Why not quit being a freeloader before you make demands of the management of this site, cheapo?

I am pining for a Paultard purge in conjunction with a Freeperthon. I am willing to pay extra to FR for each Paultard purged.

If a Paultard is also a contributer, then I will match that Paultards contribution so FR will not lose any revenue.

I have a ping list full of other players too.

The title of this thread implies that Dr. Paul considers black people to be animals, and as such some folks would associate him directly, or indirectly with racists. I would expect such semantic thuggery from the DBM, but not from people who post here.

The poster of this thread merely posted an article posted on the web. Your fight is with James Kirchick, not mnehrling or anyone here at FR.

Also, the Ron Paul quote you included in no way addressed the issues of this article. It merely highlights Ron Paul's assertion that he represents true Republicanism. The issue of racism is not addressed, thus your use of this text is worthless as a refutation.

"I thought that was really, really weird too. Kucinich is the guy he’s closest to in political philosophy? (wasn’t that what Leno was asking?)"

Kucinich and Paul are probably the only two guys in Congress who aren't for sale, say what they mean and who vote their conscience. I may disagree with Kucinich politically on most everything, but I respect him.

As for the rest of this garbage on Ron Paul, one day he is supposed to be "right wing", the next day his detractors call him "left wing"; one day he is supposedly "kissing up to Liberals to divide the Republican Party", the next day he is supposedly "kissing up to Neo Nazis". Make up your mind, because in following all this RP mudslinging, it isn't Paul who is looking like "the kook".

Now does anyone think that the author of this trash, who is also a staffer over at "The Independent Gay Forum, just might have an axe to grind because RP wants to stop gay marriage recognition at the federal level? Nah, I am sure that the author was "totally objective" about RP in spite of this! Right, believe that and I have a bridge to sell you!

Obviously he has found a constituency, as Wallace did in 1968. Another Wallace, Henry, also found a constituency in 1948. Fact to remember: In our two-party system, each party is a coalition of interests. Occasionally they break off into significant third party movements, such as Perot’s in 1992. The basic problem is that no such party could control Congress even if it won the White House. Gerrymandering has efffectively given the two parties control of most of rthe state delegations in the House. It is virtually impossible for a Third Party to mount a campaign to win control of Congress and the Executtive in a single election or even a cycle of three.

They were probably banned for posting a constant stream of articles about the USS Liberty.
