Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
“Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.”
One liners don’t substitute for a coherent argument.
Which reminds, I have to drop a note to Dr Paul. I wonder how Don Black is these days? I know, I know! He doesn't agree with Don Black, but it's okay to take his money. Like I said...absurdity illustrated.
Has anyone else noted the irony of a White Supremacist named "Black"?
Ok. RP is an isolationist, anti-defense of America, no concept of the real world, thinks he knows the constitution, calls himself a republican but is really in line with the dems on the defense of this country closet liberal.
Shall I go on?

If you want to keep making an ass of yourself, don’t let me stop you.
He’s a consistent voice on RKBA, a pro-life warrior, and often a lone voice against the growth of federal bureaucracy and entitlement programs.
Just like a dem! /sarc
RP is in line with the dems on the defense of this country, that is the bottom line for me.
Who are you supporting?
Which reminds, I have to drop a note to Fred and Rudy. I wonder how Aristide and Robertson are doing these days. Fred doesn't agree with the Marxist Necklacer Aristide but supports putting him back in power (in exchange for lobbying money) and Rudy doesn't agree with Pat "Americans are to Blame for 9-11" Robertson but publicly embraces his support. Like I said....absurdity illustrated.
Kook.........
Entertains 9-11 “truthers” among other things.....
“Have you ever read about the reasons they attacked us? They attack us because we’ve been over there. We’ve been bombing Iraq for 10 years,”
Theres nobody in this world that could possibly attack us today. I mean, we could defend this country with a few good submarines. -Ron Paul
So you think we’re close to fascism?
Ron Paul: I think we’re approaching it very close. One—there’s one, there’s one documentary that’s been put out recently that has generated a lot of interest called “Freedom to Fascism.” And we’re moving in that direction. Were not moving toward Hitler-type fascism, but we’re moving toward a softer fascism. Loss of civil liberties, corporations running the show, big government in bed with big business. So you have the military industrial complex, you have the medical industrial complex, you have the financial industry, you have the communications industry. They go to Washington and spend hundreds of millions of dollars. That’s where the control is. I call that a soft form of fascism, something that is very dangerous.
“We can achieve much more in peace than we can ever achieve in these needless, unconstitutional, undeclared wars.”
Aaron Russo: Is there a law that requires people to file a 1040?
Ron Paul: Not explicitly, but it’s certainly implied.
Aaron Russo: Well, implied by force?
Ron Paul: Yeah.
Aaron Russo: But is there a law?
Ron Paul: I can’t cite a law, no. But, you know, if they think it’s the law, and they have all the guns, it’s an authoritarian approach.
Unlike the other candidates, he has actually refused to accept a Congressional pension. Only a bona fide "kook," would do something like that, right?
“Fortunately I have until Feb 5 (live in California) to decide.
I am not yet firm on the choice but am leaning to FT or DH.”
I like both, but they both have probs.
Fred with the Aristide stuff as well as his backing of campaign finance reform.
On Hunters side, I’m not a big fan of the “Parents Empowerment Act,” I think it shows disregard of the 1st amendment. I’m also not 100% with him on his trade positions which are too populist for me. Overall he’s solid.
I think that defending America means also defending our liberty from government bureaucracy. Both Hunter and Fred and have endorsed big-government solutions I’m uncomfortable with.
Two other problems with Hunter are his support for No Child Left Behind the massively expensive Prescription Drugs Bill (which has spiked prescription drug prices).

He’s totally right.
Politicians create power through bureaucracy, then businesses buy favors and access to power through campaign contributions.
Eliminate the regulatory fiat power and you eliminate the corruption in government.
Laura Ingraham just made him look like the kook most of us know he is.
“Two other problems with Hunter are his support for No Child Left Behind the massively expensive Prescription Drugs Bill (which has spiked prescription drug prices).”
Totally right.
Government intervention in markets always distorts them.
“Laura Ingraham just made him look like the kook most of us know he is.”
She’s a shrill harpy. How did she make anyone other than herself sound like a kook?
Whatever.
Sure, yeah. Totally right.
This kind of crap is why libertarians lose so many people.
