MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Rep. Ron Paul has no plans to run on a third-party ticket, he told The Trail tonight, minutes before boarding a private jet to Los Angeles.
And, it turns out, being excluded from the evening's Republican forum on Fox News landed the Texas congressman a second invitation on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." He'll be the lead guest on Monday's show, he said.
"It's annoying not [being] able to participate in the debate," said Paul, adding that Fox News reporters and commentators "are warmongerers who don't want to hear other opinions."

“Or maybe the Fox News reporters realize he belongs in a Democrat debate, not a Republican one,”
It’s no longer a Republican debate. The NH GOP withdrew their sponsorship.
There’s a place for candidates to be excluded, it’s called after the primaries and at the convention. If you want big media to run toe GOP primary, what do you think you’ll get?
“and they don’t go on that station coz they’re mean old neocons - look what his supporters did to Sean Hannity:”
Who even cares? Sean Vanity isn’t a conservative. He’s a Rooty koolaid karrier.
Fine with me if Ron Paul joins the Democrats in their boycotting of FOX News, He needs to go back to the LP, and the NH GOP can shove it.
Maybe by your standards Mitt Romney, John (Kerry) McCain and Rudy Guiliani OUGHT to be in a Democratic debate instead of a Republican one also, they hold view that are just as much in line with the Democratic platform and more so than Ron Paul..
GO AWAY: ALL RINOS (Democratics masquerading as Republicans).
The irony is Hannity has given Ron Paul quite a bit of air time in the past couple of months.
Paul is more Republican overall than all but 1 major candidate (Thompson) running and 1 minor candidate (my fav Hunter).
That would be great. Wouldn't it be a better world if we had Thompson and Hunter to choose from and the torchbearers of Conservatism.
Well, as nutty as Paul is, at least he’s taking his grievances to the airwaves in the proper manner instead of duping the media into doing a press conference under the guise of a “Major Announcement” like Duncan Hunter just did. That was pathetic.
“Fine with me if Ron Paul joins the Democrats in their boycotting of FOX News,”
He didn’t snub them - they snubbed him. He wanted to be on the debate. He’ll be on Leno instead and reach a far wider audience.
“He needs to go back to the LP, and the NH GOP can shove it.”
LULZ the NH GOP can shove it?
The debate is for the NH primary and Fox alienated the NH GOP.
Who do you support?
No, neither are anti-war or pro-drug legalization. Ron Paul and his supporters really only to end the War on Drugs. Romney, McCain, and Giuliani’s supporters don’t act like that, only Paul’s.
And I suspect he will.
It is inexcusable that a candidate who has outraised every other Repub in contributions and who polled 10% in the last primary isn’t allowed into the debate.
Whether you like RP or not, if you believe in fundamental fairness, you ought to be offended by Fox News’ decision to keep him out.
Better a "warmonger" than a whoremonger. I'm about tired of this leftist rhetoric being spouted from a Libertarian/Green posing as a Republican.

Agreed it was dopey - and I’m a hunter supporter.
Why, to represent Alex Jones and stromfronters?
No, if he’d been running under the Democrat ticket, he would have knocked out last week, they always go by poll numbers, not the Iowa caucus results.
The CNN debates were rigged, but he says nothing about that, now does he? LP doesn’t care, it’s all about their idol, and it’s getting old.
Say what you will about Ron Paul....the only thing that matters is the millions of Americans that find themselves without a party and struggling to find a conservative candidate.
The way I see it, around 20% of the electorate are just plain sick and tired of the status quo.
If we keep fishin from the same ol pond, were gonna keep catchin the same ol big mouth bass.
Romney
Obama
McCain
Huckabee
Richardson
Kucinich
Clinton
Guiliani
Ya get whatcha vote for. The status quo.
Go to his website and find one thing besides the Iraq war that isn’t a conservative position.
Poll numbers are more reliable than actual votes?
That’s the criteria they use, the decision predated Iowa. We’ll see about those poll numbers tomorrow.
Oh, and I’ll probably vote at the RNC for whoever wins this blue state I live in - late late primary here, but they’ll probably go with Romney, apolitical + scads of Mormons.
In the general elction, the Republican-to-be-named.
