As huckleberry supporters claim the definition of conservative then I guess he is the conservative in the race.Rush took him to the woodshed.

Is Rush putting fiscal conservatism before social conservatism? Yes. As well he should.

Soo.....Conservatives like Rush Limbaugh should simply coronate anybody who wins Iowa and STFU forever after, in the name of getting somebody/anybody elected? I like how the conservative movement is finally growing a pair and fingering the RINOs. Nothing like regeneration!!! GO RUSH GO!

WE must remember that Traditionalists, Christians, Evangelicals and pro-lifers make up the backbone of the Republican Party. Speaking as a Christian social conservative, there is no way I'd vote for another 'compassionate' big-government turd like Huckabee.

Is Rush putting fiscal conservatism before social conservatism? No, he's putting CONSERVATISM before POPULISM. As a conservative would normally do.

Why not, they claim to have the patent on the definition of Christianity.

I’m not a Huckster, so don’t even attempt to brand me as such. Keep the baseless charges to yourself.
I am a Conservative Republican who works to get the most conservative person possible, while balancing it out with working to beat far worse people like Hillary and Obama.
I don’t operate in terms of 2-4 years like you or others here. I look at things in terms of 16-20 years+

Fiscal conservatives will vote for Huckabee Nope. Tax Hike Mike's record is actually worse that that of the average Democrat.

Fred Thompson -- I Like him, but will he even come close to winning N.H, Michigan, South Carolina or Florida? Not likely. Maybe S.C. And what if Thompson continues to be cast as boring and barely awake during speeches and debates by arch conservatives like Fred Barnes and others?
LOL -- NO ONE can find ANYTHING wrong with Fred, except things like "he was late", "he's boring". Give me a break

Rush should not cool his jets. I'm only sorry that family obligations are causing him to take the day off tomorrow.

BTW, Huckabee is also pro-traditional marrigae (among other conservative positions), which many Republicans pay lip service to, but don’t work ... really work... to advance and keep as the law of the land.

I think if we run Huck and he loses big then the Rockefeller Pubs will say “see that’s what happens when we run a socon” and scare everyone into nominating Whitman/Bloomberg types until the end of time thereafter.

Nope. He cannot be a true conservative and put money first. The Son of God himself put morals always before money.

Nope. Advocates of sound government (i.e. fiscal conservatives) require that their interests be protected, or their checkbooks will snap shut during the campaign and they’ll find something better to do on a nice early Noverber Tuesday.

The NH NEA supports Huckabee. THAT should tell conservatives something to name just one of Huckabee’s bad points. Huckabee isn’t a Conservative, he’s a Liberal with an (R) after his name. He’s a shifty liar, at least we know what Rudy and McCain stand for.
To: Rational Thought
At least Romney gets it on illegal immigration and voted instate tuition for illegals. And I have not heard Mitt say like the huck that we should be “nicer to our enemies”.
I heard huck at a debate a couple of debates lie about his deal with instate tuition and gave the famous lib “for the children line”. I have never heard of mitt doing that.

Now, to ttell you the truth, I don’t know if Rush is putting money before morals. I hope he isn’t. I doubt that Jesus would like that if he were.

Bingo! It appears that Style wins out over Substance. Views and track record mean nothing as long as one looks good and is exciting.
To: Laissez-faire capitalist
What say you? I say there is little doubt that we will have a Dim President.
I and many I talk to will no vote for Huck, Mitt, Rudy, McCain, or Paul under any circumstances.
Why? Simple if I am gonna get hosed and the country is gonna go to $h!t then I would rather a Dem do it.
