Bill finally books Fred.
I hope it’s in studio, mano a mano.
Fred’s taller.
Fantasy Transcript....
BOR: “Why has it taken so long for you to come on my show, the #1 rated primetime news program in America?”
FDT: “I don’t take a dump without a plan, son.”
I will watch O’Reilly for the first time since he attacked FreeRepublic. If I watch him again after this will be determined by how Bill conducts himself. If he uses his interview to advance Fox News Channel’s institutionalized campaign against Fred Thompson, then I will never watch him again.
Its about freaking time Fred!! This strategy (which I suspect comes from his wife who is incredibly defensive about his image) of attacking the media and avoiding doing any interviews is keeping him out of the top two in any race. If he picked up three points in the national polls, he would be the clear third and he could at least get mentioned by the media.
Of course, if he would learn to speak in soundbites he might have done better with that Luntz focus group last night in the debate. They think Fred was asleep??!!? I just can’t process that one. Something makes me think that the audience had a bunch of ‘undecideds’ who were actually Romney people who suddenly ‘decided’ for Mitt after the debate. Romney did do well, IMHO, but I don’t think it was any landslide.
I like Fred on the issues and his temperament but I’m not yet convinced that his laid back adult style will not be destroyed by the media and the ‘young’ candidate who will be on the other side in June.
My guess is (1) that Bill will want to talk process questions like, “Why are you ceding New Hampshire?”; and (2) that Fred will answer every question the same way: “Visit my site at fred08.com”
They think Fred was asleep??!!?I knew it was a set up right there.
‘that Fred will answer every question the same way: Visit my site at fred08.com’
He’s never done that before what makes you think he will do it on O’Reilly?
“They think Fred was asleep?”
When you want limited government - focused only on the limited Constitution responsibilities of the Fed government, this is a good selling point.
If half our money and most of our time was not spent on them, they could all sleep most of the day.
If America picks the president like Luntz’ focus group, we’re in big trouble.
I believe Bill is still in NH and that he’s doing the show from there.
Thanks for the heads up.
GO FRED!
That FAUXcus group was so preprogrammed/loaded as to be laughable...
Unfortunately, most people swallowed it -
Along with Wallace blatantly skipping past Thompson question after question - it's clear the media have decided to do their damnedest to take Fred out of the picture - they don't want their nominee facing Fred

It’s a regional thing, I think, New Englanders don’t much cotton to Southerners. They talk fast and like fast-talkers. Southerners think that New Yorkers are speaking another language. I recall the Gary Cooper movie where “Alvin York” meets the guy “Pusher.” Pusher rattles on and after awhile asked. “Do ya follow me?” York replies, “A word here or there.”
Watching B.O and others ignore and abandon Fred is like watching a beast eat their own. Thompson is by far my choice candidate and at this point all I can do is cross my fingers and pray he holds on until the convention. MSM wants him gone. They’ve created the illusion that he’s already gone. I gets Freds approach. Unfortunately this isn’t a senate bid. The key word here is “charasmatic” He just doesn’t have it in him to perform for the media. It really is a shame. Hold on Fred!
Second, and probably more important, Fred's having a membership drive on his website, trying to sign up 50,000 new site members by January 11. So far, on the third day of the drive, the new-members tally is under 3,000. What better way to meet that goal than to publicize it on The Factor?
