TALK OF HILLARY EXIT ENGULFS CAMPAIGNS Mon Jan 07 2008 09:46:28 ET

Facing a double-digit defeat in New Hampshire, a sudden collapse in national polls and an expected fund-raising drought, Senator Hillary Clinton is preparing for a tough decision: Does she get out of the race? And when?!

"She can't take multiple double-digit losses in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada," laments one top campaign insider. "If she gets too badly embarrassed, it will really harm her. She doesn't want the Clinton brand to be damaged with back-to-back-to-back defeats."

Meanwhile, Democrat hopeful John Edwards has confided to senior staff that he is staying in the race because Hillary "could soon be out."

Key players in Clinton's inner circle are said to be split. James Carville is urging her to fight it out through at least February and Super Tuesday, where she has a shot at thwarting Barack Obama in a big state. But others close to the former first lady now see no possible road to victory, sources claim.

If true, hooray. It really is just what Hilarity deserves. The media was never going to nail her but perhaps the people will do the job.

Does anyone here think Obama is any less dangerous than Hillary?”

Obama is less dangerous than Her Thighness. HE is just as liberal or more so. He is now riding a wave of enthusium based on political correctness which says the dems will put up a senator, one term...actually he has worked in the Senate 1 year and been on the campaign for a year, who is black and we will show the world that we are responsive to our white guilt psychodynamic. Ambassador Keys is much more qualified than Obama if you look at accomplishments. The self delusions of the left seem huge....no executive experience, no buisness experience, no experience in running any large organization....he is simpy not qualified, as Hillary is not qualified. But he is on a roll.

The reason he is less dangerous than Hillary is that he is naive and she is calculating evil. Intent in play here. Both are lustful or power, but only Hillary has nefarious plans and the machine in place to effectuate her dangerous plans.

She’s old, tired, too predictable and too divisive. She should have deferred to Nita Lowey and passed on the 2000 Senate race, and instead run for Governor of New York in 2002, she would have easily beaten Pataki. She more than likely would have been re-elected in 2006 and maybe that would have put her in a better position now. Then again, I’m glad the way things are working out, looks like we won’t be seeing her around much longer. Say hello to obscurity Mrs Clinton.

Nooo!!! I want her to get the nomination. She would definitely be the easiest for the Republicans to beat in the General.

Usually I’d agree she won’t pull out for ego sake but I think she may do it. Once she clearly see’s it’s not her’s for the taking any longer I think she will bolt. She never could have predicted the Oprah factor in all of this. Rats are desperate to find the candidate that can create a sensational buzz and wave. She’s old news. With Oprah in the ring it has changed the whole climate. Unfortunately Oprah could tell a room full of women to go urinate on their neighbors rose garden and chances are every Rose garden in america would have the stinch of urine on it by the end of the day. I’d rather have Bam bam mania right now. My guess is Clinton is hellaciously pissed at how quick the tide has turned and I’m banking on her making sure Bam Bam doesn’t get the whitehouse since she didn’t get it. By the time we get down to the two primary candidates from both sides I think Clinton will have quietly opened the door for Bam bam to be seen for what he is NOT! The mania will be over although the Oprah factor is going to be tough competition.

Obama is radically pro-abortion too. He voted against the Infants Born Alive (during an abortion) Act. This means that if a child is born alive during an abortion, the doctor does not have to save. He/she can allow the child to die. He also supports teaching homosexuality and sex ed to 5 year olds.

“What are the states to watch for?”

The Super Tuesday states, where most of her support is anyway.

I agree. Hillary started a fast fade back in Philadelphia and it was never the same after that. That was the "jump the shark" moment when the wheels started coming off her campaign bandwagon. Stick a fork in her - she's done.

—the unions will pull her through in Nevada—”

That may happen, but it will be SOUTHERN Nevada which does the pulling.
Northern Nevada doesn’t have that kind of union support, and they really don’t like her or Dirty Harry Reid.
