Drudge: Siren only.
“That she could go from such an apparent lead to this in weeks- without a major scandal..its stunning.”
I think her candidacy may have been a total media fabrication from the start.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the true negatives for her were much higher than we were told.
Maybe 75% said they wouldn’t vote for her under ANY circumstances? I don’t know ANYONE that likes her!
They may not have believed the polling data and just decided to run her up the flagpole to see who saluted.
Works for me. A win is a win is a win.
Guess that we will know for sure at some point.
LOL! Coward.
You can’t “will” support. If the rats are running from a sinking ship, there is very little to do about it except run ahead of the wave and maintain what remains of her dignity.
Perhaps the polling was rigged. Maybe she never really had that lead. Oprahs endorsement may have turned a close race into an Obama landslide.
I can’t recall exactly... tossed overboard in the Great Rudy Purge, perhaps?
I’ll buy this story when I see the Cajun with a trash can on his head.
I have actually been thinking more along the lines of the Hill-Billy bringing in the Dixie Mafia.
What better campaign scenario than her dropping out, endorsing Obama, and then some horrible tragedy befalling the young photogenic likeable black JFK. And of course Hillary would sadly step back into the race to carry on the Obama legacy.
She went through 100 mm bucks?? On chocolate? Hookers for Bill? Where did it go?
“Maybe its Obama picks Hillary for VP.
Official presidential food taster will be a vital and dangerous job with Hillary one “bad oyster” away from the White House”
Funny!!
This has been so interesting. I think as soon as the press started being tough on her, people were reminded about the 8 years of Bill, and the thought of it again is just too much, especially when Obama has emerged as a viable alternative.
Indeed and it began as soon as she won her second term. Egg on the faces of Dick Morris and Bill O'Reilly who staunchly forecasted she would be the nominee and Morris for assuring us that she will be the next President.
Well I’m not going to write to much into this.. but what I know of Hillary if its obvios she’s going to lose, I wouldn’t it in the real of impossibility that she’d withdraw now so she can run again in the future.
If she runs and loses and keeps on running and loses she’s completely unviable for another run down the road.
If she pulls out early enough in the primary she can run another day... if she stays too long any chance of another run are DOA.
I’d say Hillary would stick out through at least super tuesday.. However if she gets pasted in every primary she may drop before then 2/5 is Super Tues. There are 5 primaries before then including NH, and a few caucuses as well.
We shall see what happens.. but Hillary quitting after 1 caucaus and 1 primary? I don’t think so, unless her polling shows she’s losing everything by a margin that she can’t possibly overcome...
If she loses everything and then loses everything sup tues as well, she not only has lost any chance at the nomination this term, but EVER... But her polling would have to show it horribly bad for me to believe she’d pull out after just 2 or 3 states.
Hillary also set out to wage a national campaign. Politics is local and she’s seeing that now. I think she did the national campaign because she wanted to convey the idea that she was the heir apparent and use that sense of “credibility” (in her eyes) and confidence to propel her forward into an easy victory.
I don’t count her out yet, because the Clintons stop at nothing to get what they want politically. I think though, in the light of Obama’s current strength, that his strengths could make a difference in who we nominate as our candidate. Youth and energy become more important, as well as likability. Obama is very weak in substance, so we need someone who can point that out without offending the voters (something that Hillary has not been able to do).
She will be the nominee.
