He woke up on the table.
Described alarm bells went off saying he stopped breathing, remembers nurses telling him to breathe.
Lypo or hemorrhoids?
I’m listening. Do you know what kind of surgery he had? I know it has to do with his @$$.
Note to Glenn: Layoff the Meds.
Hemorrhoid surgery is completely UNNECCESSARY. Inflamed hemorrhoids is caused, as Howard Stern has said many times, by poor wiping. A good policy is to do your thing on the toilet in the morning and THEN take your daily shower. As my uncle used to say, “Sh*t, shave, shower, shampoo.”
OK, so, Glenn’s gone crazy. Dogs gnawing off children’s faces?
Judging from his show this morning he should have made his video with a blankey over his head.
I see the keyboard commandos have populated this thread already to make fun of Glenn. I think it’s cool that the dude is emotional. That makes him interesting. Not everything in life has to be some stupid sport where people pummel the hell out of each other without flinching.
If you have never been in a hospital unable to do anything for yourself...You have no idea of the trauma.
When it was over I was so glad to be out I did not even tell family since they were far away and could do nothing at the time.
7 days and not even a washcloth to the face
if you asked for medication 10 minutes early so they might get it on time...they never returned for 1-2 hours
floor never cleaned and the trash and bandages just piled up. e-coli infection within 10 days that threatened my limb and life and another weeks hospital stay and surgery
food delivered and since you could not feed yourself they removed it when you were sleeping... 40 pound weight loss in a month
Want to have a serious Auto accident?
Glenn is emotional, but I understand and hope it helps someone else.

Once he noticed a nurse putting up a new IV bag and he noted that it looked different than what he had been getting. She almost had hooked him up to the wrong medication.
Another time they rolled the bed over his oxygen hose. The worse was when he was complaining about pain in his upper shoulder and the nurse kept giving him more and more IV pain medication. He called me and was so incoherent that I thought it was a prank call. It ended up that the pain block was only for his chest area and all he needed was a Tylenol 3 for his upper shoulder.
Something we learned is that you need a family member there all the time.
