Because that is the only way something will changeSo if Joe Smith (the government) is constantly vandalizing your property, your going out and extorting money from Bob Jones (the taxpayer) is going to make Smith stop? Just exactly how does this work?

The taxpayer votes the government representative out of office, and let’s the new guy know his job is on the line too if things don’t change.

"So if Joe Smith (the government) is constantly vandalizing your property, your going out and extorting money from Bob Jones (the taxpayer) is going to make Smith stop? Just exactly how does this work?" Joe Smith is vandalizing your property in the performance of his assigned work duties. Joe Smith is Bob Jones' employee. Only Bob has the power to change Joe's work practices. The issue must be addressed with Bob.

Just exactly how does this work? Bob Jones is Joe Smith's employer. Smitty was acting in Jones' name. Jones paid for Smith's actions. Jones is liable.
