HAMPTON, N.H., Jan. 6 -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, slipping further behind her chief rival in the Democratic primary here, has taken direct control over her strategy and message as she scrambles to block the ascent of Sen. Barack Obama.
-snip-
In an unscheduled conference call with senior aides on Sunday morning, Hillary Clinton took what her advisers described as an unprecedented level of control over the direction of the daily message -- issuing orders rather than soliciting advice. According to one participant in the call, Clinton did not explicitly relieve any advisers of responsibilities, but made it clear that she intended to reorient her campaign toward sharpening her differences with Obama on the trail.

I agree ... I prefer the Breck Girl as the Democratic nominee.
And on the Republican side, Ron Paul fits that description. He’s such a sad joke.
Given her nature, I don't know how she can be any more controlling than she already is.
As another Freeper reminds us, "THE CLINTONS CHEAT>"
We are fighting not only her but her flying monkeys in government, and huge amounts of illegal campaign cash. Remember she has at this time the following scandals running:
1. Norman Hsu
2. The Chinese waiters/waitresses in New York.
The Asian Indian guy with the data based company.
4. Dickie Scruggs (under indictment).
She has mustered a formidable army to steal the election. Discounting her is a very big mistake until the jail cell door slams shut behind her.
She’s a nasty, mean woman that has surrounded herself with even meaner, nastier people like Mark Penn, Sid Vicious Blumnethal, Paul Begala, Carvile, Harold Ickes and Ann Lewis!! VILE people all.
Again to be said....she’s AMerica’s EX-WIFE!!
A Captain Queeg moment to be sure.
“In MSM spin terms, this means she wasnt responsible for recent defeats.”
As Rush would say:”right on right on”
During a December 2007 break from the Iowa Gang Obaming of Hill, Big Brown delivered the Sad Hill in her big brown and ugly pant suit to light up a meeting for her in Gilford, NH!
Then the Hill lights up the Gilford, NH Meeting with her charm and energy!
After that vivid description, I should be smart enough not to ask this, but, does anyone have a link to a video of Hillary’s “hurt my feelings” statement?
You bring up a good point. Wishing for Hillary as the D nominee because of some notion she’d be easier to beat is very risky business. Yes, she’d be easier to be beat if it were simply a matter of going head to head on issues and policies and personality. But as you rightly point out, that’s not the way they play. Republicans had better be thinking: What would Sun Tsu do?
