It is unfortunate that this person was killed. I reserve my judgment until the facts are established. If this woman raised a weapon at an officer she brought this on herself and the child. This has not been established. One fact that has been established is that it was a lawful warrant and drugs were recovered. The perp has a history of drugs and violence and the police will act accordingly. The moral of this story is avoid people who sell drugs illegally.

The moral of this story is to eliminate all unconstitutional no-knock searches and go back to a constitutional republic. One of the main reasons for the 4th Amendment was the idea of knock and announce because the British Armies used to kick the doors down just like we do now.
Until we go back to respecting the 4th Amendment again, no American is safe. Hundreds of no-knock searches occur every year at the wrong residence and many completely innocent people have been killed by this vile and evil practice. I do not blame the police here, but the politicians.
If drug dealers are able to flush their drugs down the toilet due to knock and announce, that is a small price to pay to prevent this kind of insanity.

Yes, yes... I know. The government justifying it's own existence and expansion of power via the drug war told you it was "legal". That must make you feel better at night.
Ever here of a place called "Nuremberg"? Bunch of guys just following orders had to explain themselves there too...

I found another link here:
Police shoot woman, 1-year-old in northwestern Ohio drug raid
From the Article:
"Tania Wilson said she and her sister had planned to start a college course Monday to study business, and that Tarika Wilson hoped to make a better life for herself and her six children ages 1 to 8 who she said were all in the home during the raid.
She said Tarika Wilson was upstairs with her children helping them clean their bedrooms when the home was raided. She said a niece told her the mother was holding her son and fell over him when she was shot."
If this is true it does not look good for the raid.
