That is my wishful thinking, snugs. Fred & Mitt are mostly supporting the Prez unlike some others throwing stones just to please the media. One has the money & other is the most conservative of the pack. Just draft a winning campaign team & crush the dems.
Now you are talking my language, let's get it on!!
Anita, Good point. I never quite thought of it that way. The major point that stands out is their disagreement with the President on immigration. And think about how popular Bush would be with us if he took a different stance on immigration and threatened to veto the the amnesty bill.
McCain was and actual named-sponsor of the bill.
I don’t see Romney as a flipflopper as much as a guy that got the message.
I think a Mitt/Fred or Fred/Mitt ticket would be fantastic.
Well, you know the old saying, and it especially goes well in elections: Nice guys finish last.
These elections don’t usually go to the people who are best on the issues but the ones who are most ruthless, vicious, and cannibalistic in their campaigns against their opponents. Mitt Romney fits that bill. Take a look at how he’s running his campaign— he does very little defending of his record and spends his time going after people, either Democrats or his primary opponents, and it doesn’t matter how underhanded those attacks may be.
I don’t think that’s right, but to quote Cronkite, “that’s the way it is.”
As I said the more the campaign proceeds one sees things and reads into things where nothing is there :o)
