THE first time she heard Barack Obama speak, it gave Kathy Gillett goose bumps

Goose Bumps?..must have been cold in there....

I don't get it. I watched this guy speak on cspan a day or so before the Iowa cacaus.

Hussein, was in a gym with a crowd of 150 or 200 ( 30 ish age wise ). They just stood there as he droned on and they applauded politely, like they were listening to some afternoon speaker at the garden club.

I honestly would have rather watched some old man crumble crackers, it would have been more dramatic. I'd have fallen asleep on my feet if I was there.

I just don't get it, I think these people WANT to see a great black politically correct leader. that has to be it.

JFK was also a battle hardened war hero. He knew war and he was strong on the national defense. Facing down the Russians during the Cuban Missile crisis was no mean feat.

Barry has no such experience in that realm or in anything useful to be the leader of the U.S. He sounds good, but that’s not nearly enough, and he doesn’t have any ideas.
During the debate last night, most of what he said is the stuff that one sees on refrigerator magnets. Empty Suit.

So they’re saying he’ll get us into a nuclear crisis with the Russians, bog us down in an Asian land war, cheat on his wife with numerous strumpets, practice cronyism and pick an S.O.B. as a running mate? I can’t wait!

Has Obama been shacking up with a movie star?

Well said! Electing Obama could very well be the biggest mistake the elecorate ever made (including Carter). The only positive that could come out of an Obama presidency would be a vast Republican majority being elected in 2010 and with an uninformed electorate that would be no guarantee. In short, if the Republicans don’t nominate the right person ( I don’t even know who that is) then bad things are going to happen.

Obama is JFK?

Bad comparison. The propaganda press with its stupid, limp assessments, its hyperbolic images and its outright lies and exagerrations have created a cartoon character of JFK.

JFK was hitting bottom in public disapproval when he left for Dallas in Nov., 1963. In fact, some historians have written the JFK flew to Dallas in order to shore up his sinking numbers by appearing in an area that was generally hostile to him and his policies and confronting his critics.

After his assissination, the MSM went into fairy tale mode and created a JFK who never existed.

Here’s one fact about Kennedy - if JFK ran in the Rat primaries today, he would never get the nomination. And the propaganda press will never note that.

So Obama is the new JFK? I guess that means he is an election stealing, womanizing, adulterer, drug addict with Addisons Disease that is in favor of tax cuts and a strong military?

Oh Please. Yes, he is an inspiring speaker. But this is getting ridiculous.

What about him is inspirational? It's recycled socialist drivel. I don't find his speaking style to be anything special
I used to be suckered by Bill Clinton a long time ago. That wore off and no Democrat can fool me anymore. A few Republicans do on occasion like John Cornyn who was for the border fence and is now subverting it

"Somehow his voice seems contrived especially when he is speaking in a black church."

Agreed. I think Hillary's impersonation of MLK sounds much more authentic.

Criticisms of his voting record could appear nit-picking when set against the promise of the first African-American president.

Oh my. The guy's only experience is as a legislator yet to examine his voting record is "nit-picking".

I’ve said it in other threads, but it is clear that the media desire a media President, and that includes the international media as well. Clinton was. Bush wasn’t. Hillary isn’t, although she can work with them as long as her people hold the negatives. But the MSM want the sensation, and some among them want the ownership of the office as well. How far Obama is willing to go to hang onto the gushing will be interesting to watch.

I remember reading a while back that he had a problem like WLC & JFK had - wish I had the original link (computer died, me away for much of year...) BUT here’s hearsay: “and as for obama...my source is a family member that works in the dem. party (the dark side)

suffice it to say the party leadership has a lot of concerns about him and his skeletons”

Barrack:

"All your poontang are belong to us!"LOL

It won't play very well.

Barrack knows that and will be very, very smart about it.

He is no fool, which is the problem.
