Why would he go after Egypt and Libya? With Saudi Arabia I can see his rationale...the Persians and Arabs hate each other's guts. Europe? Perhaps. Lots of infidels there. Lots of Muslims too though...

With Europe, he may want to dangle an atomic sword of Damocles o’er their heads. A tacit threat to trot out whenever Europe does anything that does not tickle the fancy of the Mullahs.
