Well...Fred didn’t really participate in the love-fest.
I helped a Lebanese foreign college student get to the Hospital a few months back when he first came to this country (Redmond, WA) for the first time in his life, and after his medical ordeal, I took him back home. Out of nowhere, this kid goes, “You know what I like about your country?”
I was like, “What’s that?” (Thinking he was gonna talk about the hospital or medicine.)
Then outta nowhere he says, “You have your two tribal factions, the Republicans and Democrats, and they don’t go around shooting each other or killing each other. They can talk in the same room and get things done. It’s NOT like that where I come from.”
I was blown away. I think that’s the day I really truly was glad I lived in America.
I just smiled and said “Yea, that’s why I like it too.”
God Bless America.
McCain looked like a mean, vindictive old man.
Steppie is saying no one seemed to like Mitt Romney and all seemed to go after him. Well he certainly held his own, IMHO.

The rest of the contestants recognize who their chief competitor is. I hope and pray that Republican primary voters see Mitt the same way . I see him wiping the floor with any of the dems who might become their nominee.
Did he? Hunter has had a tough go of it. He has the ideas and knowledge and all the others use them with DH being left out.

Romney attacked issues, not candidates. Yet, the candidates attacked him personally with juvenile one-liners. He looked presidential, they looked petty.
