Hmm, though one wonders where USAToday got their data.

That’s a good graphic, but you might try to keep the county names from being washed out so much when you paint the rest of the county. If I were doing it, I’d try to put an off-white square around each county name before I painted the rest of the county. If the off-white square is just barely different, no one will see the different white color. If the square is at least two or three pixels thick, the paint won’t bleed into the name.

The way Myth Romney has behaved with his dirty Iowa trick against Fred and the way he has campaigned with dollars and deceit. I feel sorry for anybody who would support him.
To: WFTR
Good post. I have to agree with you.
Personally, I can support anyone other than Rudy ( who offers ZERO to social conservatives--at least he's honest...lol) and Paul (nut case isolationist, total capitulator).
All of the other candidates at least have,,,,, or pretend to have,,,,,SOME socially conservative positions that social conservatives can agree with.

The Thompson campaign has never denied it.
Yawn. Aristide also had the support of the US government and the OAS at the time...and with OUR help he was actually reinstated.

I repeat. Fred Thompson came into the race as the candidate with the best chance of not splitting any part of the Republican coalition. His supporters on Free Republic are robbing him of that advantage.

Assuming any dirty tricks happened, politics is a tough world. You compete and win or you lose. Rest assured there is nothing that is happening in these primaries that compares even remotely to what the Clinton machine would throw in the general.
Or to the war in 2000 in South Carolina that GWB fought to stop McCain.

Dirtbag Romney picks up another one from the Mormon strongholds.
5 official delegates now for him. Unbelievable the number of MORONS that support him..

Yawn. Aristide also had the support of the US government and the OAS at the time...and with OUR help he was actually reinstated. And that makes it okay to support a Marxist apologist for necklacing? Is that what you are trying to say.
To: WFTR
No, I believe Hunter is that guy (with the best chance to not split the vote)... he has more values voter appeal, and more experience... etc..

Personally, I don't think that Fred Thompson is that bad a candidate, but based on the way his supporters have acted, I won't lift a finger to help him win. You let anonymous internet posters impact your actions to that extent? Bizarre, to say the least.
To: Onerom99
I must have missed something. What was Romney’s dirty trick against Fred in Iowa?

He was linked to the “fred will drop out after caucus if he dont hit 15%” b.s. over at politico.
Romney is filthy IMO. Anyone who would support him is filthy.

“It’s also interesting that Ron Paul attracts strong vitriol from liberals and Marxists.”
This could give the appearance that Ron Paul and Marxists are opposed to each other.
I would prefer to hear Ron Paul clarify the situation.

Looks like there are a lot of Mormons in the the western counties.
If slick Romney wasn't a Mormon Thompson would be winning this easy.

USAToday’s site shows 6 delegates for Romney. The WYGOP site shows 5. There is no win until there are 6.
