Hillary Booed at NH Democratic Party Dinner (On Drudge)

If the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s 100 Club dinner is any bell weather – Barack Obama will handily win here. When Obama, the dinner’s last speaker, took the stage the crowd surged forward chanting “O-bam-a” and “Fired Up, Ready to Go!” So many people pressed toward the stage that an announcer asked people to “please take their seats for safety concerns.”

By comparison Hillary was twice booed. The first time was when she said she has always and will continue to work for "change for you. The audience, particularly from Obama supporters (they were waving Obama signs) let out a noise that sounded like a thousand people collectively groaning.

When Hillary uses the word "change" in this context, she means exactly what all left-wingers always mean by it: she means that she "will usher in a new dawn of socialism for all peoples of the world, and bring to fruition the long-held dream of a commonwealth of nations without the curse of competition, fear, and war."

Of course, there can be no birth without blood, as Lenin said. He also said "you can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs" if I recall correctly.

No sane person can make a case for why Obama is the best the Democratic party can bring forth.

The best they could produce would probably be Joe Lieberman, at least in so far as foreign policy is concerned. But they've made it abundantly clear that they don't even want Lieberman in their ranks.

I think she would still run for Senate in NY State...Just in order to keep a base of power, in case another Dem gets in the WH and maybe appoints her as ambassador to the UN, or her husband to the SCOTUS

You peeked my curiosity with that. As a writer of a nostalgia column, using lots of colloquialisms, my poor spell-checker is driven to near collapse.

I tried 'bellwether' in both word and my email spell checkers - and they both had it...so that would leave it the fault of the writer...

However, I wished they’d both order something extra potent and keep drinking it.....till they pass out. Personally, I could care less if they ever sobered up. They’ve been drunk on power for far too long.
