The best they could produce would probably be Joe Lieberman, at least in so far as foreign policy is concerned. But they've made it abundantly clear that they don't even want Lieberman in their ranks.
Exactly. Which of the democrats would be better than Obama, and why? It's not a pleasant population to choose from. We may snipe at one or another Republican candidate, but on the whole you can make reasonable arguments why one or the other is the best the Republicans can bring forth. Without even talking about hairstyles, image, or sexiness.
