Pretty funny. My whole family is dying to buy a Prius, but fortunately it’s too damned expensive.
I’m waiting for the diesel revival.
Now only an environmentalist would think that it’s smart to park their car in the middle of a gun range....
Love the video.
And love the ever present question: Why would you want to own this piece of junk compared to a cheaper Golf (Rabbit) from VW?
Unfortunately Toyota’s reporting doesn’t break down monthly results model by model for their whole lineup to see where the monthly decline was, but Prius sales are still on an upwards trajectory, and the model continues to be a very successful product for Toyota. (14,212 sales this Dec. vs. 9,261 prev. Dec.)
Im waiting for Audi myself, and Volkswagen is coming out also.
There is going to be a mad rush on those.
I had a VW Rabbit. It was a great car. Then the envirostupids got to work and drove them out. It’ll be great to see them back again, hopefully at a decent price.
I like Toyota, but the Prius is a joke.
well i do like rabbits just the size is a bit scarry
if audi is at 45-50mpg then ill do audi
if its less then rabbit
the messed up think is 50% of cars in europe are diesels
why cant they be imported here
one wonders and cant be emissions europe has lower limits then Ca
Politics.
Me too. GM should be putting diesels in their half ton models within the next five years. Honda will also be going diesel. Hopefully the Element gets one.
And here’s the irony....
VW makes very good engines (if you use synthetic), EXCELLENT transmissions, fantastic suspensions, etc....
But you’d be stuck with their horrid electrical systems. So the irony? You could probably get a diesel VW which, by being diesel, would have LESS electrical systems than a gas engine, and far less than a Prius, and it would still likely be a less reliable electrical system than that on the Prius.
