I’ve only heard about it on Freep. There have been a couple of threads (that of course I can’t find now) - the one I most remember the guy was asking for help rebutting claims that Fred had filled out a survey on candidate positions by saying abortion should be legal in all states.
I think a consulting firm he worked for put on a pro-abortion client for a couple of hours.
My thinking is that clear endorsements like this one are a very straight forward response - there is no way he gets these pro-life endorsements if the dirty tricks were true.
