Someone tell me again why Iowa is allowed to determine our Presidential election field? This crap has to end. It is supposed to be one person, one vote in this country. Here in WA state, I have very little to no say whatsoever in who our candidate is. That’s crap.

Same thing here in Indiana. I think our primary isn't until May. That gives us exactly zero impact on the primary. And we are a state that the Republicans count on every time. We should have a say. I think the solution is a national primary day or something like it.

Iowa has nothing to do with it. The system is set up by the parties. The republican party can change the way candidates are selected however and whenever they want. If you are a Republican and are getting screwed by this system, you are getting screwed by your own party.

Iowa is first because the political parties made that decision.

If you really want to have a say in the rules of the party, you have to get involved. Start by joining the county committee and speak up there.
