“Huckabee has surged because he won a couple of debates and he’s got evangelical support. If a quick rise can happen to the liberal pro-life evangelical Huckster, it can happen to the conservative pro-life evangelical Hunter.”

Nice wishful thinking but ...
MSM wanted Huckster to do well for all the wrong reasons.
McCain wanted Huckster to do well for all the wrong reasons.
Nobody wants a conservative like Hunter to do well except us conservatives. So it wont happen. No press. No story. No support. Sorry.

I hope Romney wins Wyoming. He should. And I hope Thompson and Hunter do well and Rudy and Huckster both get under 1%. Then I’ll know we have good folk in Wyoming.

You asked a question. I answered it. You have to learn not to ask questions if you don’t want to hear (or read) the answer.

. . . .shaded to the right . . .

huh?

True conservatives don’t want grey shading. They want their leader to find himself in the “solidness” of true conservatism. The republican base will come to know him as a leftist liberal he is, even though he has an accidental “R” in front of his name.

The nation doesn’t need another southern state ex-governor with a “yuk, yuk” demeanor who believes in the ‘goodness’ of big government.

The Huckster is every democrat’s wet dream. He wins and the conservative movement is *OVER*.

So, hoping Romney wins Wyoming... does that make you a Mitt fan? How do you think he did tonight in Iowa? I know Hunter didn’t beat expectations, though I could say that Thompson didn’t meet expectations. A sad day for conservatives.

“We were going to get the Reagan coalition destroyed by getting Rudy nominated, and the SoCons said “No, that’s unacceptable!” So they are destroying the coalition with Mike Huckabee instead.

A total ClusterHuck.”

I support Romney.

If I am forced to choose between Rudy, McCain or The ClusterHuck:

You will see me running to the ballot box for Rudy.

I CAN BELIEVE THAT WITH QUALITY LEADERS LIKE MITT, FRED AND RUDY ON THE BALLOT, WE WOULD WOULD GO WITH TRASH LIKE HUCK AND MCCAIN!

?? Sorry, I read your answer, the values voters wanted Pat Robertson back in l988, correct? Who now supports RG.

So why the complaints of being dissed by the GOP? Why the disillusionments and rancor?

The GOP has a litmus tests of lifetime prolife advocacy, and men of Christian faith, men who must be vice-free for a lifetime, values voters are in total control of our nominee choice. Regardless of any other issue.

And now even two, I said two, hot WARS.

What more can one ask for?

They want the one thing that gubmint can’t deliver — a society that suits them.

All needs to be known about Huckster is that he increased the AK govm’t from 1B/year to 6B/year. And somehow I truly doubt AK economy grew by a factor of 6 during that time. Therefore, he presided over at least a 5-fold increase in taxation of people of AK.

That’s all I need to know. Never mind his Gomer Pyle grasp of foreign policy, as evidenced by his ridiculous ‘paper’ he issued that could have been written by a 4 year old. Forget all the religeous stuff that makes all the moderates (and some staunch conservatives like myself) just *cringe*, that man would get a lot of us killed with his incompetence.
