PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― Police are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with an assault on a Geno's Steaks employee just two days after Christmas.
Surveillance video shows the suspects at the world-famous cheesesteak shop in South Philadelphia in the early morning hours of December 27.
Police said the unidentified males reportedly were verbally harassing a female employee at about 6:30 a.m.
A 32-year-old male employee, who was outside power-washing, tried to intervene when the suspects turned their attention to him.
Following a brief argument, one of the males allegedly picked up the employee up and flipped him onto the concrete.
Authorities said the employee struck his head and was knocked unconscious. He suffered several broken bones, a fractured vertebra and loss of hearing as a result of the altercation.
"For someone to pick someone up and throw them on their head, in my opinion, he tried to kill that kid and I think he should definitely go to jail," Geno's manager Joe Perno said.
The two suspects were captured on surveillance video at the counter of Geno's.
The first suspect is described as a white male, 18-25 years old, 5'8"-5'10", with brown hair, wearing a brown coat, and dark pants. The second suspect is described as a white male, 18-25 years old, 5'10"-6'0", with brown hair, and was wearing glasses, a light colored baseball hat and a yellow/white/tan coat.
The assaulted employee has since been released from the hospital but is said to be suffering from blackouts and dizziness.
Geno's owner Joey Vento said he is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest in the assault.

With surveillance pictures that good anybody could make those guys. On the other hand, banks, where multiple thousands of dollars are kept and folks make withdrawals at gunpoint, give us grainy, half-inch-of-vaseline-smeared-on-the-lens, black and white photos of hooded robbers and ask if anybody recognizes the blur to call police. Yeah, right!
You forgot the sarcasm tag (or forgot you're at FR, not DU :-)

Yes.
only Pat’s has a plaque in the ground where Stallone stood while filming Rocky :)
