I have always made an effort to treat others with dignity and respect, even in disagreement, and will disassociate myself as far as possible from this sort of thing. While there are some good folks for your guy, there is simply too much of this type of thing among the Fred Thompson supporters I've encountered. I've sent a mass-email - twice - to my fellow Hunter supporters in past months to exhort against this exact behavior.

I sure would feel better about that than the current choices (aside from those two.) I half expect that Duncan will drop out before long to protect the campaign of his son. He will be a loss to the Conservative movement if that is the last we hear from him. (And I was rooting for him to pull 5% in Iowa and send the MSM into a fit.)

I should also mention that my early support for Duncan faded on the actions of some of his supporters. Those intelligent enough to support those two should know better than to fight in front of the children.

You should be voting for a candidate, not his supporters. If you are looking for a candidate who doesn't have supporters who act like jerks, you won't find one. Hunter supporters have been as obnoxious and disrespectful on FR as any, and I don't hold Hunter responsible for that.
At the risk of alienating you further, I think your decision criteria is pretty immature if that is what keeps you from supporting Thompson. We're not voting for prom queen. It matters who wins.
