I hate to admit it, but a very weak Thompson showing in Iowa means he probably cannot recover. He has barely beaten McCain & Paul - both of whom will beat him in NH. McCain & Romney will beat him in Michigan & Nevada...by the time SC rolls around, it will be too late for Thompson to make up ground.

I cannot recall when I was so disappointed with my fellow republican voters. Even Bob Dole was a better candidate than Huckabee or McCain.

Add in the bitterness covering republicans right now, and we’re in big trouble for the 2008 election.

So - anyone have any good candidates for 2012?
