Interesting how the Fredheads are gloating about Fred's "victory" with his distant third place (with numbers far behind the no. #2 candidate) showing. A few monthes ago they were talking about what a wonderful guy Fred was because he was polling second nationally "without even running ", and they hailed this as proof that Fred would be vaulted to first place the moment he actually got out there and campaigned.
The Fredheads have been talking about the "Huckabubble" and predicting it would "bust" when the "real" election rolled around and he'd be "another Howard Dean". Instead Huck just surged to a 1st place finsh and rolled over a guy who outspent him 10-to-1 in Iowa.
Looking back at "top tier" Dean's dismal third place showing in the 2004 Iowa caucus, Fred's campaign is looking more and more to be in the same situtation every day.

It will be Huckabee's chore to cut through the flack and friendly fire, to tell conservatives as well as the rest, what he's really about.
Doing this, I think he'll have all the help he needs.
But conservatives need to get off the Limbaugh-enforced notion that there is virtually no need for a check or balance to any businesses whatsoever (not even multi-national, China-supporting, illegal-employing, slave-driving businesses?)
Conservative Republicans, including many a FReeper need to remember that this is the GOP of Lincoln, Arthur, McKinley, and T.R.
Bully!
Everybody tune in -- Huckabee's speaking now!
