This is the single most defining difference between Duncan Hunter and the rest of the so-called "top tier" candidates. Duncan Hunter stands alone in his ability to endure close scrutiny of his past record. In complete contrast to the rest of the "top tier," America can be sure that the more it learns about Duncan Hunter, the more it will revere and respect him. As a leading force who has been devoted to the good of the nation throughout his public life, he needs and deserves the country's enthusiastic support.

Thanks for posting! It continues to amaze me how allegedly rational and intelligent people will go ga-ga over some other guy named 'Chuck' (Norris) endorsing a lying RINO like Huckabee, but ignore the endorsement of a genuine American aviator hero and patriot like Chuck Yeager, given enthusiastically for the only true Reagan Republican in this race.
My tagline says it all, IMHO.

Gen. Yeager continues to do a great service to his country in trying to get people to realize Duncan Hunter is the man we need as our next President and that there would be no better service to this country than to vote for Duncan Hunter. We do not have to feel guilty for voting for Duncan Hunter. They can attempt to manipulate all they want but Hunter is worthy of the support when the others are not and with Hunter you are actuallly voting FOR rather than AGAINST. If more people would have the spines to stand strong Hunter would win this thing and we would have the strongest general election candidate.

Michael Reagan on Duncan Hunter and Ronald Reagan.
As Ann Coulter wrote in her new book, the best-qualified of all the candidates is Rep. Duncan Hunter. During the debate he was the candidate who provided the best information about the economy and had a first-rate suggestion of what we need to do.
He keyed in on what must be one of the most important economic issues trade.
He talked about our shocking $800 billion trade deficit, and what the Chinese are doing to us. Duncan understands that when anybody cites Ronald Reagan as a free-trade advocate in defense of our present trade policies, they need to remember that in my dad's playbook, protection of the American people came before anything else.
Take the case of Harley-Davidson. My father protected this American manufacturer of motorcycles against lower-priced Japanese imports. When he acted in behalf of an American company, Kawasaki and Honda reacted by moving their plants to the U.S. and created American jobs for American workers.
His policy was so successful that although he gave five years of protective tariffs to Harley-Davison, they didnt even need that long a time before they could turn their company around. Given a level playing field they proved their superiority as an American manufacturer.
Ronald Reagan did the same thing with semiconductors, and the auto and steel industries. He also forced the Japanese and others to open up their markets to American products so that trade would be fair. When that didnt happen he would impose tariffs on those products coming into the U.S., thus protecting American manufacturers.
Sure, he was a free trader who wanted too open up trade, but he always sought first to protect the sovereignty of the United States and its manufacturing base. He did not confuse free trade with giving the store away.
The effects of our current trade policies and the horrendous trade deficit they have produced are a gun pointed at the heart of our economy, and the Republican who can stand up and tell the truth about this problem and its solutions will be the one who emerges from the pack.

Duncan Hunter is the only Conservative left in the GOP race. The others are fighting each other to convince people they are Conservative.

Yeager is one all-American supporting another all-American. Wishing that more and more people would awaken and see the truth regarding Hunter. He has my vote, and has had from the beginning. If he falls out, or loses, I will go to Thompson as the next best choice in the field...but Hunter, to me, is clearly the all-America candidate who would work hard and relentlessly to put this country back on track militarily, ecponomically, fiscally, foreign affairs wise, and morally...while continueing to take a relentless fight to the enemy.

Amen my FRiend. If Duncan Hunter should decide at some point that his campaign for the presidency is over, I will await my marching orders from him as to what candidate to support.
I trust him now, I’ll trust him tomorrow no matter what happens.
God Bless America, and Duncan Hunter.

BTT!!!
CBS reported this last night, so take it with a grain of salt, and they didn’t say WHY they believe it, but they said Fred will quit the race if he doesn’t show well in Iowa and support McCain. If that’s the case, he can support McCain all he wants, I won’t vote for him. Hunter has my vote until the fat lady sings.

If Thompson were to through his support to McCain, I would be very disappointed and figure that my choosing him as my second after Hunter had been a mistake.
The things Thompson is saying do not square with support for McCain IMHO, and if he threw his support behind McCain, I would have to re-evaluate whether I believe what Thompson has been saying is sincere.
Right now, I believe it is sincere, and he continues to have my support after Hunter.

Thanks JAN, here's a quote:
"The story cites "several Republican officials close to Fred Thompson's presidential campaign." Galen told me, "I'm a Republican official in the Thompson campaign, and I'm denying it." Galen also said that no one inside the campaign was a source for the story. "I can't put enough adjectives in front of the 'deny' to accurately describe how vehemently I'm denying the story," he said. Galen said that "just to make sure," he checked with Thompson himself, who told him the story was not true. "We have the schedule for Saturday and Sunday in New Hampshire, and then we're going down to South Carolina," Galen told me.
Glad for the denial. I hope Duncan surprises a LOT of people and that Fred does too. I hope McCain and Hickabee also surprise a lot of people by fairing much worse than they imagine. We shall see.

I agree 100%...and your tag line regarding Hunter, “the only candidate whose record matches his talk” says it all.

Sorry, I honestly did not mean to write "Hickabee", I really meant to write Huckabee and anyone's use of my slip up in using Hickabee will be doing so themselves without my encouragement or backing.
