Leave Iraq in 6 months with 46% yes and 13% not sure???? And these are Republicans? From now on when folks ask if I’m dem or republican I will say neither - I’m a Conservative.

This has been a problem for awhile. When President Bush first got elected a liberal office-mate said she didn’t like him. I said I didn’t love him either - he wasn’t conservative enough for me.

I only lived there for a brief time though long enough to meet my wife so I still go back to see the family. That being said, I will say that, as a group, Iowans are some of the most unpredictable people I’ve encountered. They might love the GOP/Democrats, but then detest everything for which the party stands.

Agreed.

But it took a while for many people to realize that "Compassionate Conservatism" = "Nanny-State Socialism"
