FReepers:
Have a Happy and safe New Year.
Thanks for all the comments, and especially the pictures and keen observations, again yesterday.
Thank you very much for the kind words and hellos.
Now, a few issues.
First, have you EVER seen so much good done by so many which the MSM
has worked so hard to cover up as they help the enemy?
What would it be worth to have a choice of real news on TV?
Second, remember: The pictures will not last. Grab and discuss them now, when you can.
Third: Did you spend at least a few hours today helping for success in the War for Enduring Freedom?
Do something. Support the Troops. And think about posting your picture, correction or observation here.
Finally, FReepers and lurkers,
The very best to each of you and your families in the coming year(s).
Stay safe.
END OF TRANSMISSION 1/2/08 .......... AR
As always, thank you so much!
Ping to these great pics!
Thank you! God bless our troops.
Thank You Very Much! I luv these threads!
So where did you find the picture taken around noontime today of Hillary after her New Years eve bash?
The top one is an F-15E, the pod under the right side air intake is the LANTIRN navigation pod. I developed the algorithm that flies the F-15E, and other aircraft, automatically, at 200 feet (and below) at speeds up to 1000+ feet per second. I wasn't alone of course, but the core algorithm is mine, and some of the auxiliary parts I helped with as well. That was some years ago though.
The bottom one is of course the E-3 AWACS. I helped build a training simulator for training the back end crews. They also use it to train ground based weapons controllers, and by feeding the simulation with live ground based radar data, from multiple radar sites, they train both the controllers and student F-15C/D pilots flying around in real Eagles. That was more recently, but I have no doubt students trained on the system are now directing aircraft to targets, and to tankers, over both Iraq and Afghanistan. Probably keeping an eye on the Iranians as well.
WOOHOO! What a fabulous way to begin the new year. So many cool pix our MSM does NOT want us to see, especially anything good out of Iraq.
Our Troops ROCK!!
Thanks so much! Your threads are always awesome and a pleasure to behold.
Happy New Year, Dio!!
Thank you for posting them.
We’d never see them if you didn’t post them.
Great to have you back!
Great images!
Wishing you a Healthy Prosperous New Year.

Besmaya graduates Iraqi Army Unit
BESMAYA, Iraq A graduation ceremony filled with music, marching and speeches marked a tremendous step for Iraq when the Iraqi Armys 2nd Brigade, 11th Division graduated here Jan. 2.
The brigade is fully equipped and trained to battle the enemies of Iraq because of Unit Set Fielding, a process that takes an entire army brigade and gives the soldiers the equipment and training they will need to fight.
Iraqi Minister of Defence Abd al-Qadir al-Mufriji attended the event and delivered a compelling speech to the graduates of the brigade.
The people of Iraq have taken money from their pockets to make sure the Iraqi Army has the weapons needed to fight, said al-Mufriji. You should be grateful and protect them.
After the ceremony, al-Mufriji toured the Besmaya Range Complex, viewing the ranges, new medical facility and the lot of equipment supplied to each brigade participating in Unit Set Fielding.
