This stuff about McCain just has me flummoxed. It has to be a media creation.
The idea of having him as a candidate when we could have had Fred just makes me shudder.
Go Fred. I think (and hope) Rush will be influencing the situation this week.

I wonder how you find all this good stuff. This is a good article, in support of the most conservative who are running. I wish all journalists and bloggers were up to this level of writing.
Thank you for posting this.

Fred needs to step up in Iowa!!! Get those Huck voters off our backs!!!!!!!!!!
To: 2ndDivisionVet
That was truly a well written work.
But, what are you gonna do when Fred gets fifth or even perchance loses to Giuliani and gets sixth in Iowa in just 72 hours?
Really.
What THEN?
And I don’t mean this as any kind of “tee hee hee”... I mean for all of you who have attacked all these other guys as being so sucky and crap.... WHAT do you do about that?

Been doing this for the better part of a year. People avoid me in hallways, knowing that any conversation with me will lead to a Thompson for President spiel. Go Fred!

Thompson, Hunter and Keys are the only Republicans running for President this year. The others are poseurs, fakes, frauds.

WHAT do you do about that?We vote third party. If the Republicans can't nominate an actual Republican for President, then true Republicans will have no other choice.

1) President Fred is better than my screen-name.
2) As for the Iowa caucuses and their meaning, just ask the former winners in Iowa, Bob Gephardet, Bob Dole, (and who won the GOP in Iowa in 1980, it wasn't Chairman Ronnie).

and a nine-month contest for the leadership Nine month contest? This seems to me a reasonable definition of hell.

Wonderful. We need to beat Huck in Iowa. I think there is a chance that enough serious caucusgoers will support Fred enough to pull a good 2nd place. I think the arena of ideas between Mitt and Fred will show very clearly in the following contests that Fred is the conservative choice. But first we need that big Mo (mentum) that comes from being second in Iowa. Every Iowan needs to see Fred's video to them.

We vote third party. If the Republicans can't nominate an actual Republican for President, then true Republicans will have no other choice. So you'll actually be giving your vote away to a democrat. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face...

Thompson is set to pick up a string of endorsements over the next few days. If you haven’t noticed Drudge has his Message to Iowa voters on his page and Rasmussen does too. Also out of those voters who say they could change their minds Fred is one of their second choices. Over a third of likely caucus goers could be persuaded to change their minds before Thursday so there is a lot of work for Fred to do.

Rush is back Wednesday, but he probably won’t endorse Fred. And I’ll keep praying for Fred and Jeri.
