New Haven (WTNH) _ Veterans are outraged that a war memorial in New Haven has been vandalized.
The Vietnam War Memorial at Long Wharf was spray painted with the threatening words "Kill whites MS 13."
Seeing this just crushed the veterans we spoke to. The names on that wall that are covered in paint, are the names of those who fought and died for this country in the Vietnam War. Tonight, police are investigating whether this is the work of a violent street gang, but the veterans we spoke to, say whoever they are, aren't as tough as they might think

We need a network of secret vigilante societies to start enforcing the law in this country.
I’m pretty sure Mayor DeStefano will be awarding metals to these brave immigrants shortly.
This town makes me want to puke. As far as the vigilante thing, I’m in. So in.
Actually, what am I saying ?
That grafitti is DeStefano’s handwriting.
couldn’t agree with you more. our court system, the aclu, the disease of liberalism, gutless politicians (and well, I could go on but you get my drift I’m sure), have made the vigilante senario just about the only way I believe that our nation will be able to start some internal healing.
Remember that Latin American politician who said they were going to send up hispanics with the idea that each of them should kill ten white people?
They weren’t kidding. Of Course, this statement is likely to draw the FROBL’s down on me.
I agree.
If it is MS13 or any other gang then kill is not too strong. Gangs are domestic terrorists and MS13 would kill you on a whim. Join a gang and you should lose any rights you might have. Shoot known gang members on sight, no warning given.
don’t give those liberal FROBL idiots another thought Hawk. they are not worth your time.
Only if they "resist" the citizens arrest of the posse from the local Legion, VFW and AMVets halls. I suspect the vets would have something at least as modern as the M-16s they used in Vietnam, although only a few will have the full auto versions. Still an M-14S/M1A1, or even an old Springfield, Mauser or Moison-Nagant will do the job of reaching out and touching those "resisters". (Call 'em up, tell them are under arrest, then we they "resist" pop 'em from 100 yards or more.)
Bastids.
26 millon Vets in this country... and most of us armed and trained...

When we put our memorial in, we also brought in 2 155’s a Huey and an F-104. We went all over TX retrieving this equipment and the parts to reassemble and paint. All the money to do this came from Vets, all the time and labor came from Vets. 8 months after completion, they were vandalized. We immediately went back and stripped and repainted all damaged equipment, and from that point on there has been a guard on site 24 hrs a day. Those guards are all Vets and all volunteers. We wouldn’t have it any other way. Whats amazing is not all of us are Vietnam vets. The returning Vets from Afghanistan and Iraq stood up and volunteered without being asked. We don’t need the Presidents help, nor would we ask for it. This is our memorial and we’ll be here 24/7.

.......I always felt the popularity of “The Sopranos” on TV was because the audience liked the way Tony and his crew reacted to “situations”....when Tony responded by saying “OK...I’ll take care of it” you knew he wasn’t thinking about going thru the court system....when he “took care” of a problem it just disappeared.
