The story of 07 is the Victory in Iraq. The Surge has been a complete military success as Al Queda has been defeated and continues to be rooted by both Our Troops and the Iraqis. They have thrown off the shackles of terrorist tyrants and are forming local democracies as they begin to breath the cool breeze of freedom. After 3 years of tearing down our military from Abu Grabass to Gitmo to Me Lie, the treasonous Establishment Press has become silent on Iraq. Like the 70s news blackouts of the Khmer Rouge killing fields, we will see or hear nothing about America’s military freeing 25 million souls from certain brutality.
Casualties which have been the thermometer for the SurrendercRats has plunged from 140/mo six months ago to around 20/mo and falling. Suicide murders and attack on patrols is down 80% as well as attacks on civilians. What was once an AQ safe House under Saddamn is quickly becoming AQ free and secure. Oil production has surpassed pre-war production and the economy is one of the fastest growing in the World. It is now safer to walk around in Baghdad than the District of Corruption.
The war that was supposed to be another Vietnam, complete w/America on her knees leaving in disgrace has turned into one of the Greatest Victories in histoir. This wasn’t invading Granada or El Salvador, this was overthrowing a powerful dictator who ruled w/an iron fist for 30 years. This was one of the most powerful Countries/leaders in the ME who allied w/every crazed madman on the planet. In addition we became the targets for ME terrorists after the fall of his gummit. We had to fight and win a guerilla war against a cowardly foe hiding behind women and children, but enough about the democrats. This Victory can’t be overstated.
The courage and brilliance of our Troops will go into the annuls as military genius. To withstand the blind attacks and IED’s on a daily basis shows the courage and metal these young people posses. No one forced them to go, they have a conviction to sacrifice for their Country as they understand the need to fight terrorism on their battlefield rather than ours. Their Country can never appreciate or repay that sacrifice. Although ignored by the Establishment, this was a war that losing would have given AQ strength and credibility beyond our worst nightmares. Now they have retreated to the mountains of Pakistan, killing a woman decrying freedom for her people. They have shown themselves to be the cowards that they are. What next, school buses full of children?
General Petreus has become Iraq’s, George Patton. This man is a leader who had a vision to fight this war in a method that has never been used. The surge strategy was to conquer the blocks and neighborhoods and then live in them. This never gave the terrorists a chance to move back in. Once they were gone and peoples lives were safe again, the people formed neighborhood police and let the US and IA troops know where the cockroaches were, for extermination. This is the foundation of the new strategy that has been an absolute success. General Protectus is the Man of the Year for those of us who love America.
President Bush will be given no credit by PravdABDNC since it makes him appear visionary. The Old York Times can’t afford that when they have an election to steal. Fortunately, President Bush could care less what the Establishment Press broadcasts, he does what he believes is right and that is why he won. He did what no President has done since FDR, to stand w/his Generals through thick and thin. While the SurrendercRats and their Lapduds were crying for withdrawals, he sent in the Surge to regain lost ground. While the entire DNC Politburo as well as many Republican Armchair Generals were calling to Cut his losses, he took a page out of Ronald Reagan’s book and did it his way. Just like RR’s Tear Down This Wall moment, President Bush stood tall and Ordered the Surge. That is why he is one of the Great Wartime Presidents this Country has ever had. The peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan have & are eliminating the terrorist hideouts and are becoming Oases of Freedom in a dictatorial desert.
Even for the Antiquated Press this should be the biggest story of the year. It really isn’t even close, but alas they have their own agenda so they will promote their communist world view. This was the freeing of a communist tyrant’s slaves as opposed to what they represent. Just like the Falling of the CCCP, the Nattering Nabobs will echo their Group Think telling each other how important Global Scamming or Paris Hilton was, compared to one of the most amazing turnarounds since D Day. To the President, it doesn’t matter; since Achmed working his field in Iraq feels his Freedom so he will turn to the setting sun as tears wet his cheeks thanking America, Lady Liberty and President George W Bush.

I don’t know that I believe in the concept of a ‘bad seed’ but I do know we learn from our parents.
I have personally known of several young people whose fathers were over zealous clergymen and the children totally withdrew from ‘churches’ in general
