In order to receive an endorsement from the Log Cabin Republicans, or any of its affiliates, the candidate has to apply for it and meet several milestones. If a candidate is granted an endorsement, they sign a contract and receive a political consultant that represents the interests of the Log Cabin Republicans. So, if you vote for someone that is endorsed by the LCR or said affiliates, you are voting for their agenda. Not the candidates horse and pony show.
