It would seem that Dean may have had a point given recent polling. Regardless, if the polls are as tight as they now suggest, the outcome will be determined by who has the resources and organization to get their supporters to the polls on Friday. Advantage (seriously lopsided advantage, actually) Romney.

Didn’t the Standard endorse the flip flopping Romney?

We must never forget that media has a vested interest in generating ratings and that they are sleazy enough to manufacture their own “NEWS” in order to sell advertising.

Polls are skewed too often. That's why I put no stock in them.

Don't believe it --> just ask Dean, Gore, and Kerry who all thought they were going to win based on the polls and they didn't.

Polls = guess

The left wing media wants to “hand pick” the GOP candidate most likely to lose in the General Election if at all possible. Skewing polls in favor of weaker (their opinion/perception) candidates is not new. They know they can’t “pump up” poll numbers of the fringe, so the go to the nearest likely mainstream “winner”.......

I have never admonished you before, but now I must.

If you insist on portraying Mitt as a front runner in Iowa, they the media will return to the script of “Mitt Romney, the Republican money bags who bought the election....”

I prefer the: “Mitt Romney, the beleaguered underdog, who faced down religious discrimination, and the formidable opposition of a Republican circular firing squad...”

Now stick with the latter so the news out of Iowa will be Mitt’s spectacular win, instead of the “surprise” second place finish of _______(Fill in the blank).

"the outcome will be determined by who has the resources and organization to get their supporters to the polls on Friday"

Well I sincerely hope that the Huckabee, Romney, Paul, and McCain organizations do an outstanding job in getting their supporters to the caucuses on Friday.

(We Thompson supporters are going to get together for our caucus on Thursday Jan. 3)

Huckabee has surged because he won a couple of debates and he’s got evangelical support. If a quick rise can happen to the liberal pro-life evangelical Huckster, it can happen to the conservative pro-life evangelical Hunter.

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

In this poll Hunter is up 3% and even with Paul and Thompson.
