I wonder why the USPS didn’t have the stamps made in China...Or did they?
Good question. If so, does China get some type of compensation or kick back from our postal use involving these stamps?

Postmasters General William J. Henderson of the United States and Liu Liqing of the Peoples Republic of China have agreed to expand cooperation between their two postal services. The agreement calls for the posts to improve existing services and to seek out opportunities to jointly develop new international mail services.
Areas such as business development, financial management and technical
