My guess is that the perp is a military-hater who wants to see angry vets on TV making ethnic comments - someone trying to provoke a race riot for his own amusement.

From what I’ve read on MS-13, this is not their doing. If it was I suspect that they would have blown it up and a half block in every direction. A can of spray paint is the last thing that MS-13 would use. MS-13 doesn’t make “statements” like this. They usually do serious damage to life and property. IMO.

What doesn’t smell right is the way the graffiti was written.
Usually the target is specific, ie “Kill Gangbanger X” and then the sign (in various formats of MS13 (or whatever gang) written after that.
To show disrespect, you cross out the grafitti.
