I just got back from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park in New Haven. I did not see this:

But I did take some pics of this: Note that the letters are supposed to be white and you can see the MS in the stones on the ground (it said MS13).

The Orange paint pretty much wiped off the granite, but the lettering and stone is painted orange. There was a fellow standing there when I took these picutres. He said him and a friend of his cleaned off the granite best they could.

I went there today. On my way there I was thinking that it was some college punks trying to do some race baiting and make an anti war statement at the same time. When I got there, I saw Mexican roach coaches all over the place. And they were flying the Mexican flag over their roach coach and one had a Puerto Rican flag flying. I imagine the flags were to show what kind of ethnic food they were serving. I saw enough people there to wonder if it could be some gang bang wanna bes. I don't know, but I know this: I saw plenty of cameras on light poles along the highway and wondered why they can't put a camera on a light pole near the memorial.

I was talking to some folks who were there and I asked them why we can’t put cameras at the memorial and they told me that the Mayor of New Haven loves illegals and would never do such a thing. I can’t help but think, ‘who gives a damn about illegals here, we are talking about protecting our memorials’. Apparently, the people driving roach coaches have fake IDs. From the sounds of things, the Mayor of New Haven needs to go.
